Tips on Choosing a Kitchen Faucet

When it comes to water-efficiency, the room in any house (or an office for that matter) that utilizes the most water is surprisingly not a bathroom. It’s your kitchen!

So, considering that almost 80% of the water you use is going through a kitchen faucet (that’s if you cook and don’t order in every single day and night), it is worth paying some attention to it.

In terms of water-efficiency and overall ergonomic qualities, most kitchen faucets can be divided into the following categories:

- Rustic

- Sink-mounted

- Deck-mounted

- Wall-mounted

- Faucets with removable showerheads

- Futuristic

So, as far as you can see, the diversity of kitchen faucets mostly refers either to a mounting option or design.

Of course, when it comes to the latter - design can limit functionality just as well as reduce breakages, as in the case of rustic faucets.

On the other hand, while more futuristic models of faucets lack durability, they can provide a homeowner with such a handy functionality as a touch-control, removable shower head.

But which type of mounting should you choose? Basically, it all depends on your personal taste.
