Our history
Our company started as Penelope Orphanou's personal effort as a distributor of Comma Oils & Car Care lubricants for Limassol under the trade name PENEL-lube, with a slogan:
Serving Automotive is our Job!
Through the intense competition of the market, the representation of the Greek lubricants SAROL begins, which quickly gained the trust of our customers. In 2001, cooperation with the Spanish giant CEPSA Lubricantes SA began, where it gradually displaced SAROL, mainly due to the stability offered by the Euro in relation to the US Dollar and also because of the best value for money.
With the increase of the working cycle and continuous imports, PENEL-lube becomes a trade name and becomes a public liability company called Rintel Ltd. Still, it is still a pure family business.
Today, the company employs employees and has a multiple turnover in relation to the early years. It remains small compared to other much larger lubricants import and distribution companies in Cyprus, but the original values remain untouched: service and trust. They are the ones that create customers and friends and who feed the dynamics for further development.
